Same thing with letting Burleson and Gorman face LH pitching.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑19 May 2026 20:20 pmOr maybe be creative and introduce an opener 1-2 innings letting him start against 7-8 getting him an extra inning only having to face 1-6 twice.southernblues wrote: ↑19 May 2026 20:18 pm Blew up in 6th inning the start before this and now in the fifth inning. Re: Liberatore
You're right he struck out 8. Liberatore has evolved his pitching arsenal so much over his time in the big leagues. He now has many secondary options and is more effective with the fastball. I believe he will continue to work and improve further.

True, but unlike Burleson getting platooned, removing Libby from the rotation isnt really an option right now.Red Bird Classic wrote: ↑20 May 2026 15:01 pmBut the roster is built the way that is because it's a rebuild season.ecleme22 wrote: ↑20 May 2026 14:58 pmLibby is getting a long leash not because it’s a rebuild season, but because the way the roster is built.imetsatchelpaige wrote: ↑20 May 2026 14:56 pmExactly.rbirules wrote: ↑19 May 2026 20:33 pmIf your sole objective is winning as many games as possible that's a perfectly fine idea.
