I thought you had opinions about this hockey team that you might want to discuss on this hockey forum. Clearly I was mistaken.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 21:57 pmI'm not a GM, why would I need a plan? The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 21:55 pmWhat’s your big plan?TheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 21:54 pmSo those aren't the only two options then. Faulk certainly isn't, the cost to get a 1st line RHD is extremely expensive as displayed by this potential trade. Mailloux, Jiricek, and Mrtka certainly aren't it at this point in their careers, so yes I don't understand this trade.Ace wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 16:37 pmYou don't understand this potential trade? And he doesn't play on the PP
Samuelsson-Dahlin
Byram-Parayko
Power-Kesselring
I still think the Bolts may add a RHD to round that veteran group out.
Detroit will also look to add a RHD
If CP55 approves, does Army keep Faulk to play big minutes on the right side and hold the hands of the youngsters next year?
A trade that might make us better in 5 years is not a great trade.
Parayko going to Buffalo if approves

Ahhh I see now, because I don't believe the only two options available to the Blues is be a middling team for 5 years, or blow it up and guarantee contention means I should have a plan. I get it we are trying to be snarky. No problem. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 22:01 pmI thought you had opinions about this hockey team that you might want to discuss on this hockey forum. I’m asking what you think this team should do. I think the other poster was spot on. We haven’t won a playoff round since 2022. Before the season I thought we had turned a corner and were building something but that didn’t happen. We are bad. We are bad if we choose to rebuild and we are bad if we choose not to. If we rebuild it’s a least giving us a chance to be good in a few years.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 22:21 pmAhhh I see now, because I don't believe the only two options available to the Blues is be a middling team for 5 years, or blow it up and guarantee contention means I should have a plan.
