Yes i don't understand this potential trade because we don't have anyone good enough to take his place. Faulk certainly isn't, the cost to get a 1st line RHD is extremely expensive as displayed by this potential trade. Mailloux, Jiricek, and Mrtka certainly aren't it at this point in their careers, so yes I don't understand this trade.Ace wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 16:37 pmYou don't understand this potential trade? I still think the Bolts may add a RHD to round that veteran group out.
Detroit will also look to add a RHD
If CP55 approves, does Army keep Faulk to play big minutes on the right side and hold the hands of the youngsters next year?
A trade that might make us better in 5 years is not a great trade.

My thought is he has other meat on the burner to fill some of the holes this creates while setting up a dynamic right side of Mrtka, Jiricek & #23 for years to come...

That right side allows 4 a game minimum

more like a couple of years...Mrtka already doing very well at 19 in the ahl...likely makes the team next season as does Jiricek...we are not going to be going for it for a bit.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:20 pmYes i don't understand this potential trade because we don't have anyone good enough to take his place. Also what we think personally about a city doesn't apply to what we want others to do, Chicago public school failure.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:22 pmThats not on blues talk that buffalo finally decided to put pieces together. I don't care if Parayko is traded to Iran, if it helps the Blues then I hope he accepts
Re: Parayko going to Buffalo if approves
Yup the post is misleading. Strickland just said he would be a little surprised if CP went. But then he went on to talk about how the Sabres are now being a destination players may want to be a part of. He offered no information indicating Parayko was not going to waive.netboy65 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:24 pmAll Strickland’s C feed says is he has a NTC. Exactly. It doesnt matter what we want or advocate for. We dont control anything. Therefore it doesnt hurt to speculateNatl20 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:26 pmAlso what we think personally about a city doesn't apply to what we want others to do, Chicago public school failure.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:22 pmThats not on blues talk that buffalo finally decided to put pieces together. If the Blues are selling off…why have Parayko on the team for the next 4 years when we will suck for at least 2 of those. The guy is 33 next season with back issues.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Mar 2026 17:20 pmYes i don't understand this potential trade because we don't have anyone good enough to take his place.
