He has blood clot issues. It would be a risk, as would Norris who can’t stay healthy. Give me Helenius or Mrtka or Ostlund and a 1st.

There has not been much smoke around his name at all. He is signed for 4 more years at a very modest 6,500,000. What does that return look like? Maybe Mrtka plus what? It would be nice to have Ellis back if we move #50. If he throws down to defend a Sabre like he did in the 4 Nations that is going to be hard to swallow. Always enjoyed watching #55. He has been here so long that I have one of the old Arch jerseys with his name and number...

I’m with you, this almost sets up another move or two at some point, no way can they go with Mrtka, Jiricek, Broberg, Lindstein and Mailloux - all arriving within a year of each other.
