The 78th time I've been added to your Foe list. I guess I'll just have to deal with the reverse racism coming me, whatever that means. My offer to send a message from you to anyone on The Cardinal Nation, who wisely permanently banned you, stands.Shady wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 18:26 pmYou are a lying, fantasizing fool yourself. Particularly, about accusing me of being racist. It seems there's, actually, some reverse racism coming you, Back to "Add foe" for you, jerk.Mort Gage wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 18:23 pmCraviduce adds tremendous value to the board with his minor league evals, GDTs, etc. You are a compulsively lying old fart who slobbbers over a handful of players and annoys most posters here. I won't even go into your pathetic history of creating sock handles to agree with yourself. Stick to your inflatables.Shady wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 18:17 pmYes, you are a pathological liar. I told you Burleson's play would make your lame criticism of him look like a fool this season like it did last season. Chalk another "right on" up for ole' Shady. Your specialty is being a reporter of the minor league games and giving lineups. Stick to that.craviduce wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 18:14 pmLying?Shady wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 18:09 pm"He claimed Burleson was a speedster and tried comparing him to Tommy Edman. You need to refrain from your contemptuous attempts to salvage credibility by lying about my previous claims. The issue is the fact that I saw Burleson as an emerging hitting talent long ago. I posted it. And you blindly disputed that. Who looks to be more accurate in their projection on Burleson right now? You are far from a baseball GURU.craviduce wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 17:32 pmTed Williams, Tony Gwynn and then Joey Votto were Shady's comps over the years. When he uses "Pure Hitter", he doesn't know what that means. Keep in mind, he made these claims well before he ever saw Burleson in an actual game. He's box-score whisperer. He claimed Burleson was a speedster and tried comparing him to Tommy Edman. And that Burleson was athletic enough to play 2B (he didn't know he was Lefthanded)Red Bird Classic wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 17:28 pmPure hitter? If your point is that Burley has little value but his bat, then fine, but if taken out of context, I'd almost sounds like you are talking about Ted Williams.Shady wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 17:14 pmBurleson is usually fun to watch bat for that reason, indeed.Rocket Scientist wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 17:12 pmAll I know is he one of the few I pay attention to, when he comes to bat. Nice to see him overcome his difficulties vs LHP.
My hands up but, well............maybe we should look at a larger sample size.......say his career vs LHP:
6 HR
.235 .266 .338 .605Want have you done today, life of a ball player and commissioned salesmen.
"Don't look back, something may be gaining on you"!
I hope he keeps it RS, would make him a regular but at what position (DH, OF -2 DRS/-3 OAA, 1B is Willy C's)?
I'm not the only one who was there for those claims.
You know this.
You've said a million times you say stupid things all the time. We're not supposed to listen to you, remember? These are your words

Sorry Shady, haven’t you heard Mo is retiring? The era of worst possible dumb (donkey) signings is over.Shady wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 16:10 pm"They probably are working on a 7 year extension for Burly right now". If Burleson continues to produce next season. Especially, if he shows continued progress. Maybe the Cardinals should consider a five year extension taking him through his prime years.RunSup wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 15:38 pmThat's brilliant. Start the daily Burly thread before Shady can get there.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 23:14 pmShady is pulling an all-nighter drafting and re-editing this same post and you go and steal his thunder?? Not cool man.
Terrific that Burleson is increasing his perceived value. It should maximize the return when they trade him this off season.
Of course, Cardinal stupidity may continue well after Mo leaves. They probably are working on a 7 year extension for Burly right now.

Re: Burleson is a star
Finally a REASONABLE comp for Burleson!rockondlouie wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 14:06 pm I'd comp Burleson to J. Naylor who's also played 1st base & the OF:
Naylor age 23-26
1347 PA's
45 HR
203 RBI
18 SB's
.274 .326 .446 .772
115 OPS+
Burly age 23-26
1455 PA's
46 HR
177 RBI
18 SB's
.267 .318 .421 .738
105 OPS+
Kruk? JD Martinez? BERKMAN?…this thread reeks of a fan base so desperate for a superstar where there is none so they just make one up.
Re: Burleson is a star
And neither Ruth nor Gwynn were fat when they were Burly’s age.
Look at some photos

Re: Burleson is a star
Anybody that considers Burleson fat is just looking for something to gripe about. Probably because he's making them look like a fool for their past shortsighted [nonsense] about him not being MLB worthy.ClassicO wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 20:02 pmAnd neither Ruth nor Gwynn were fat when they were Burly’s age.
