You might be right, the Cardinals organization doesn't make moves on what others think. They aren't completely foolish and every business cares what their fans and customers think. Show up, support, spend, and voice your opinions, I sincerely think they would love to hear and make you happy. You want this? The only rational explanation for this kind of trolling is, he works for the P-D and is paid, rather poorly, to drive traffic. The stupidity is just too far over the top for it to be a real person, with these real thoughts.
It has to be trolling. Every one of these whackos seems to live under the delusion that Cards Talk posters somehow control the FO moves of the Cardinals organization.

Just how dumb are the "BFIB" and the local media?

it does - I just hope all those who have been calling for this go to games and give their support - it sure as hell won't be those of us who have been going the last few years!Ike Hammett wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:13 pmYou might be right, the Cardinals organization doesn't make moves on what others think. It’s always trolling when someone disagrees. I’m happy for the rebuild. I’d rather see an entire team of young people with a future than a mixed bag of nobodies. Just give me a couple of young exciting players to go watch.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 13:27 pmThe negative trolling on here has been exhausting lately- But that's funny!

Yeah. I kind of do hold you responsible. Where are all of you bandwagon "fans" in the stands? Oh, you all love the club and are first in line for a championship parade and push me aside but can't be foundCusecards wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:10 pmHis rants/posts remind me of someone who was probably banned?blackinkbiz wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 14:56 pmTo be fair, he was this stupid and nonsensical in the past. I asked him his previous screen name and he didn’t respond.
I admit that missing the playoffs three straight years is a bummer....but NOW he’s leading me to believe that as a “bfib” that I AM RESPONSIBLE.
Yikes
when they actually need support. No, you are obviously entitled!

I do. Do exactly what they are doing without gutting payroll $100m. Add 2-3 young superstars to draw fans back to the stadium. Why does trading old guys for prospects have to mean cutting payroll? 2 separate issues.ClassicO wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 13:25 pm Does the OP have reasonable solutions he wants to offer?
Complaining is easy. Providing answers is not.
Personally I don’t want to see another year like the last few years, and keeping the same players would have led to that. They are long past the ability to fix the plane while it’s in flight.
The only way to significantly improve the team is to take risks with younger players, and to draft/trade in order to develop a young core that Tier One free agents would want to join. No top FA wants to join the hot mess of the past few seasons — and it makes no sense to sign such a free agent until there is solid young core.

When a business takes the time to advise their customers that they do not give a toss about them and or about any of their opinions they will find themselves with few customers.
Where DollaBill and the farly strewn from the tree apple of a son find themselves at the moment.
Deservedly so.
Sell The Team Now or face diminishing returns as most will never return as long as the CarpetBagger DeWitts remain as Controlling Partners.

First, screw you. Secondly, I have never referred to myself or Cardinal fans as the BFIB. In fact, I consider that term to be used by the ignorant who believe some comment made by talking heads on national games years ago. I consider BFIB to be the equivalent of some ignorant idiot talking about The Cardinal Way. Kissell has been dead a long time. The Cardinal Way was associate to his attention to detail as players came through the system.Ike Hammett wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 13:59 pmVoldemort wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 13:37 pmPlease stop with the BFIB [nonsense]!Ike Hammett wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 12:57 pm Okay, let's trade away our best players for prospects. Even if your prospects work out, your model is to trade them for more prospects, that only keeps you in a state of infinite rebuilding. Just how many of your lottery tickets will become hall of famers? Show me those stats.
Just how many lottery tickets do you think you will hit the grand prize on? Even if you get a few lottery ticket wins, the people like Warren Buffet and great investors will still beat you.
Good job, you are turning the Cards into the Pirates. Can you quit being dumb please?
Isn't that what you haters and the elites local media like to call yourselves? I'm humble and love rooting for the club but wouldn't go that far. You do though, right? For "fans" that think you are so knowledgeable and like to listen to the local media for advice, you sure seem dumb to me. We were good, you all wanted to change that, soooooo show me something now!

Ok Einstein. If us fans were "smart", what players would the Cardinals have acquired up to this point? Im not sure on your correlation between our intelligence and the Cardinal roster configuration goes hand in hand. Or, are you just having a bad day and needed to blame someone for it?Ike Hammett wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 12:57 pm Okay, let's trade away our best players for prospects. Sorry that my ignorance has lead to trades that you dont approve of. I'll try harder with the Donovan trade.

Teams almost never trade their young superstars. And by the time superstars reach FA, they typically aren't "young" anymore.

Yeah... kind of... but the collapse of their cable deal and the revenue opportunities missed are more meaningful. You can get fans back in the seats for a winner, but a golden goose platform to get your games in front of the fan base isn't showing up.Goldfan wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:42 pmThe Revenue is down because fans aren’t showing up…..the fans aren’t showing up because Revenue is down….Rinse RepeatAn Old Friend wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:37 pmTheir revenue is in the tank and they lost their shorts in the Bally's bankruptcy.Youboughtit wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:32 pmI do. I probably spent as much or more than anyone on this forum. I rented one of their Cardinal Way units for a year (for business purposes). In hindsight, that's 40k I'd definitely like to have spent elsewhere. lolIke Hammett wrote: ↑22 Dec 2025 15:13 pmYou might be right, the Cardinals organization doesn't make moves on what others think.
