The only rational explanation for this kind of trolling is, he works for the P-D and is paid, rather poorly, to drive traffic. The stupidity is just too far over the top for it to be a real person, with these real thoughts.

I admit that missing the playoffs three straight years is a bummer....but NOW he’s leading me to believe that as a “bfib” that I AM RESPONSIBLE.

Personally I don’t want to see another year like the last few years, and keeping the same players would have led to that. They are long past the ability to fix the plane while it’s in flight.
The only way to significantly improve the team is to take risks with younger players, and to draft/trade in order to develop a young core that Tier One free agents would want to join. No top FA wants to join the hot mess of the past few seasons — and it makes no sense to sign such a free agent until there is solid young core.

Teams almost never trade their young superstars. And by the time superstars reach FA, they typically aren't "young" anymore.

Yeah... kind of... but the collapse of their cable deal and the revenue opportunities missed are more meaningful. You can get fans back in the seats for a winner, but a golden goose platform to get your games in front of the fan base isn't showing up.

I probably spent as much or more than anyone on this forum. I rented one of their Cardinal Way units for a year (for business purposes). In hindsight, that's 40k I'd definitely like to have spent elsewhere. lol

Because the product, as is--or was--simply wasn't worth continuing to spend money on. At some point you have to stop the insanity, rip out the infected core, and build back up from a healthy base.
