12 goals for the "lowly" Predators in 2 games against the Blues.

Which is exactly what the poster you quoted said. Try reading it a little slower.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:39 pmI comprehend just fine.
It’s just a weird mindset to want to make the playoff and get swept and get a mid round pick that’s 3-4 years away if at all rather than get an almost sure thing at the top of a pretty strong draft.
You essentially get nothing in the first scenario and the season was a waste.

So clearly having a high draft pick leads fo dynasties.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:41 pmHe was the consensus #1 pick by EVERYONE.Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:35 pmYou obviously didn't watch the last place blues who drafted the franchise changing Eric Johnson...Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:33 pmI don’t understand this mindset.
Explain why you’d rather essentially get nothing out of this season, rather than have a (potentially) star player with the high end talent we need at the end of it.
Whoever got the #1 pick was taking Johnson

It's all good Daltons. It's all good my friend. Maybe I said too much. I just want posters to be more forgiving of other posters opinions. You boys sleep well and I cant wait til next game to hear from you Knuckleheads!!sdaltons wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:35 pmI honestly had no intention of blasting. I'd say 9 out of 10 offensive rushes either end with a turnover or a dump and chase that yields neither shot nor pressure and often just comes right back down their own throat.Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 20:45 pm You'd think with as many goals the other team scores by just throwing the puck at the net that somebody on the Blues might take note.
Not even enjoyable to watch anymore.
If given the choice, I generally don't do things that I don't find enjoyable, though, so it's hard for me to understand why others would choose otherwise.
It's really not a big deal.

Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
This Preds team picked top 5 last year right? There isn’t a team in a worst spot than them in the NHL in terms of their next 5 years
Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
I would like to say it is because we are down 5 forwards, but the team just doesn’t have any energy. This team plays with no emotion. Schenn tried to get some with the fight, but outside of that there were no big hits, no hard fought scrum in the crease, etc…todd-parker wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:42 pm 12 goals for the "lowly" Predators in 2 games against the Blues.

Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
I had to look it up because otherwise I wouldn't believe it. Their goal differential is -37 which is double digits more than the next worse. I'm trying to remain positive because like most of us here I'm a Blues fan but I don't see how they can get better this year. To quote cubs fans for more than a century wait till next year or the next year...
Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
(bleep) that was painful. ROR making the blues look like beer leaguers. You’d never think the preds were bottom of the barrel team. They look good. Good position, breakouts, swarm the puck, win most of the puck battles, know how to shoot instead of 10 passes,…

Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
In fairness, most teams know how to shoot the puck. It's only the Blues who have a policy of every player on the ice touching the puck twice before maybe shooting. It's like those stories about junior teams beating their opponent so bad that the coach makes them pass so many times before shooting. Except the Blues are usually the ones getting their (bleep) kicked.

Can Filip Forsberg just retire already?
