Mailloux is like a completely different person. It's exciting to see. Still obviously making some mistakes, but each one doesn't seem to crush his soul haha.

It’s weird how aggressive we’re playing in the third and we’re getting chances but in in the second we let the other team walk all over us

I don't think he really meant that he doesnt enjoy it. I bet he's just frustrated with the play of the team this year. There's nothing wrong with getting frustrated in this teams play. Just don't blast people for being frustrated. Thats my point. You are a good dude as far as im concerned. I just hate the unwarranted criticism on here. No worries here. I apologize if I came off too harsh.sdaltons wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:24 pmI'm not sure where you got that I have issue with criticizing them? I do it plenty. But I also, in spite of the rough stretch, enjoy watching the team.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:19 pmBecause he's a Blues hockey fan, thats why. It might not turn around this year but it could. We, as Blues fans aren't quitters. We love the organization and the team. Why would anybody quit watching? It's part of our lives Daltons. Yours too. I'd say 9 out of 10 offensive rushes either end with a turnover or a dump and chase that yields neither shot nor pressure and often just comes right back down their own throat.Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 20:45 pm You'd think with as many goals the other team scores by just throwing the puck at the net that somebody on the Blues might take note.
Not even enjoyable to watch anymore.
If given the choice, I generally don't do things that I don't find enjoyable, though, so it's hard for me to understand why others would choose otherwise.
It's really not a big deal.

lol the Blues never score an ENG. Other teams take roughly 5 seconds

Way to pull up at the blue line with the goalie pulled Faulk.

I don’t understand this mindset.
Explain why you’d rather essentially get nothing out of this season, rather than have a (potentially) star player with the high end talent we need at the end of it.
Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
I honestly had no intention of blasting. I just meant it as a genuine reminder that it's ok to step back occasionally. Taking a little break does not make you less of a fan.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:30 pmI don't think he really meant that he doesnt enjoy it. You obviously didn't watch the last place blues who drafted the franchise changing Eric Johnson...Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:33 pmI don’t understand this mindset.

I see Trollin did not improve his reading comprehension whilst he was away

Want to know why the Blues have been the worst 5 on 6 and 6 on 5 teams since the beginning of last season?Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:32 pm Way to pull up at the blue line with the goalie pulled Faulk.
…..#72 is out there almost every time for 6 on 5s and 70% of 5 on 6s

I was around for that. And the unfortunate reality of the situation was we sucked one season too late for the Crosby draft and one season too early for the Kane draft.Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:35 pmYou obviously didn't watch the last place blues who drafted the franchise changing Eric Johnson...Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 21:33 pmI don’t understand this mindset.

I comprehend just fine.
It’s just a weird mindset to want to make the playoff and get swept and get a mid round pick that’s 3-4 years away if at all rather than get an almost sure thing at the top of a pretty strong draft.
You essentially get nothing in the first scenario and the season was a waste.

Whoever got the #1 pick was taking Johnson

Another sad episode of the Twilight Zone.
