craviduce wrote: 14 Dec 2025 12:48 pm Why will it be "interesting", and why are we comparing those two to Gray other than one was traded for him? Even then, we would should never compare Fitts' 2026 to Gray's 2026. There's no point in a rebuild season.
Gray is on the downside of his career. Both May and Fitts are much younger and have some talent. And both have been hampered by injuries. Maybe you don't see their upside. Kind of like you not seeing what Burleson's potential was.
I didn't say they didn't have talent. I just questioned your comparison of a steady 3.5-4.0 WAR player, whom you declared was in a decline, to an at best 1.3 WAR 2 years ago and an at best 0.3 WAR 2 years ago.

Just because someone is "younger" doesn't mean they're better. And just because someone has "talent", doesn't mean they're better. Seeing their upside or not seeing their upside still doesn't explain the comparison and why on earth is it "interesting". There's no sense to it....other than giving you a chance to parrot "Burley". Good job!

Give us better, or are you comfortable with so many questioning your intellect? Give us better, erase the negativity.
Despite your lobbying and usual insult, I am still looking forward to seeing how the three mentioned compare in '26. If you don't, so be it.
"Why is it interesting?" I'm asking for the 3rd time. You hurled the insults the first...and usually the most.

Answer the question
It's interesting as to how much Gray will be missed with the additions of May and Fitts.
we're not competing....so he won't be missed...no matter who does better.

:lol: Keep being you ::crazya::
"we're not competing". Sorry, but how can you be so sure about that? You've proven to me, your calls aren't always correct.
Bloom said "we're not competing".
If he did. That is a stupid thing to say for team morale going into '26. I'm not too sure many season ticket holders are impressed either
Bloom, in fact, said the opposite.
Several times.

Crav

Just some unsolicited advice, not trying to flame you….

But you bring too much good content and insight to this page to waste your time getting caught up in frivolous back and forth with Shady. This threatens your credibility in my opinion and could make people possibly ignore all the good you bring.

Quit giving Shady a bigger platform for his drivel.

I agree. It's ridiculous for cravey to be so obsessed with trying to ridicule almost every thing I post. I also agree that craviduce brings "much good content and insight to this page". He just needs to completely ignore me. Let's see if he can get over his obsession.

With a little dustin off his previous skill set one of those pitchers May work out very well in 2026, and if the other Shoe Fitts into a solid 3 or 4 spot, it will be a good combination of decisions on Bloom's part with no gray area.
Not bad.
