These announcers keep going on, and apparently Monty too, about he plays an honest game defensively! What? He can't even clear the zone again, just like shades of game 7. And he was never a great skater, but it is like he is skating in quicksand. I think Milan might skate faster!

Roughly translates to loud/rowdy or some equivalent. Buch is ANYTHING but rowdy on the ice. The announcers were praising his lack of offense and said he was an honest player whatever that is supposed to mean.

It is hindsight Buch had put up big numbers in STL that led to an extension the Blues didn't randomly decide one day to pay him he was PPG. His play seems to have fallen off a lot. If Buch had just 4 more goals for instance this may be a .500 team

My issue is play him on the 3rd line or in some kind of reduced role until he improves. Right now he is not a top line player and he’s killing Thomas. Late in the game Thomas gives him a pass into the slot near where Snuggerud had scored from earlier and Buch missed the whole goal. And his body language is atrocious. He sulks or gets upset every time he screws up. It’s on display for everyone to see. At some point it’s not a Buch problem it’s a Monty problem. And I don’t think it’s an effort issue, he’s just mentally fragile.

It's more than failing at what he used to be able to do he's making a lot of mistakes on the ice. I can't even call it snake bit either.
