if you look at the thread views ... then it's an incredibly low level conspiracy to get clicks in a business that is being torn apart by many other factors far more relevant to the bottom line than whether they can keep getting about 100 male sports fans to return and talk about sports. how many people do you really think are in this niche discussion group? Serious question for the OP: what do you think is a reasonable time frame for deciding definitively who "won" this trade, given the differences in NHL experience for two players, the longer timeline for development for defensemen, etc.? Will we know definitively after this season, in your opinion? Will we need to wait until Mailloux has 200 games of NHL experience as a defenseman? When will we definitively know?

1. I want both Bolduc and a young RHD. I've been waiting for years for young replacement to Petro. 5 years later, why did I have to give up Bolduc to get a raffle chance on a young RHD"?

2. If Mailloux ends up more like the next Perunovich than the next Petrangelo, who is the next beloved young prospect that I need to give up for the next raffle chance?

3. Is there any scenario where Army could be "wrong" for making this trade. For 95% of the BluesTalkers, the answer is NO. What say you?

To someone that wants a fair grade, I would say 2 years. However, this is BluesTalk. We have only cheerleaders, and those driven insane by Army, and there is no timing ever that would facilitate a good discussion. Since no timing will ever work, weekly must do.

Truly, virtually impossible to know whether you're serious. To the first boldface statement, Neighbours is eight in his draft class in career goals, 13th in points and games played. To the second, Neighbours has 56 goals in 211 career games, Sundqvist 62 in 493.

Finally — and I like the guy — Sundqvist is not durable, having played 70 or more games only twice in a season (71 and 74) by age 31, while Neighbours has accomplished the same (77 and 82) by age 23.

I think it helps the group to understand the group is smaller than people think. There is a lot of testifying to each other about each other as if an audience of multitudes is being persuaded to adopt a viewpoint. If we understood it as the same relatively small group of people we'd let more stuff go instead of prosecution of griefs.

It's way too early to tell the ending of the Bolduc/Mailloux story, but it's good to know the beginning of the story.

Bolduc was cherry-picked from the Blues roster in exchange for what most would label a dump from the Montreal roster.

My job is to hold Army accountable for his moves. It's not an easy job, but somebody has to do it.
