Ah yes, more insane, racist characters from the mind of whoever the Hell he was then- or who he is today.
Can we please do a full historical list of all the imposter posters he has trotted out? A light trip down Schizo street…

Like you, I'm remembering him having some pretty good power numbers in the minors.foster100 wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 15:13 pmIt is just not a good baseball decision to bring up JJ before September. As for Saggese he hit for decent power in the minors, so let's give him some more at bats in the majors before we categorize him as a singles hitter.rockondlouie wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 08:51 amAll he is is a singles hitter w/no power and an average at best fielder.Wattage wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 08:48 amSaggese has hit well outside of that ice cold stretch. Id like to see him get chances to prove himself or prove he needs to be discarded. Oli and mo did saggese no favors by benching him and demoting him when he was in the middle of his hot streak earlier in the year. He was gonna cool off but why bench a guy during his hot streak for a guy coming off the il that wasnt hitting prior to il. Just trustrating.rockondlouie wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 08:43 am Just to remind the OP, you're getting all excited over:
.245 .278 .329 .607
Average at best fielder.
J.A.G.
If you really want to get excited, then you should be calling out Mo the Idiot for not bringing up JJW:
26 GP @ Memphis
9 HR
17 RBI's
25 Runs
.310 .403 .670 1.073
Giving Saggese playing time at 2nd base over JJW is yet another stupid move by Mo.
Jjs time will come.
The thing concerning about saggese though is the lack of walk rate. He doesmt have a ton of power i think for mlb and he strikes out plenty, so he really needs to improve his batting eye. Or else he is doomed to be medium avg low opb and slg% hitter
He has no position here (Gorman/NADO--3rd, Winn-SS, JJW-2nd) other than end of the bench SUP.
He's J.A.G.

Mort, wasn’t it “Wrestler Guy Gary” who was those persona? I always thought it was. I don’t think Shady is Wrestler Guy.
I, however, claim the right to be incorrect!

Re: It's nice that Saggese is getting a good look
he's not Gary. But he welcomed Gary and his Racists handles. He even made one himself, and made the mistake of forgetting to switch accounts one time in a convo with himself.WeeVikes wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 17:17 pmMort, wasn’t it “Wrestler Guy Gary” who was those persona? He never condemned Gary when asked to. Same with Cranny...funny when Toby called him "Klanny"

And Saggesse makes another error tonight.
Feels like the more we play him, the more errors he will make, and at an excessive rate.

Re: It's nice that Saggese is getting a good look
A good team with a competent staff can over come an error per game. A team like STL with its mediocre staff can’t absorb the loss of out and the additional base runner.
What’s worse, an error or a walk.
Re: It's nice that Saggese is getting a good look
An error is worse because a runner on second or third can also move up and sometimes they go for multiple bases.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 07:47 amA good team with a competent staff can over come an error per game. The only exception could be a foul ball pop up that it gets dropped because nobody reaches base. But in the real world, usually seems the runner gets on base next pitch and burns you when those opportunities are missed.

Exactly. And as been shown by the errors of Saggese or Gorman, both with recent bad games, seems to lead to multiple runs, usually putting us playing from behind.Carp4Cy wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 08:33 amAn error is worse because a runner on second or third can also move up and sometimes they go for multiple bases.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 07:47 amA good team with a competent staff can over come an error per game. Seems to me playing with the lead would lead to a more comfortable playing environment..

It's a terrific baseball decision to bring up your 2026 starting 2nd baseman and let him get his feet wet in MLB so he gets a jump start on 2026.
How do you not see this?

 Re:. M. Winn
And I'm not keeping my #1 prospect, who's tore up AA/AAA, down for Saggese.
This is MLB, not the minor leagues where Saggese faced mostly pitchers who will never reach the majors.
He has no power, 29 of his 39 hits are single and he'(poop) one HR.
JAG

So now you are stooping low enough to revive the misguided racist inference. You are a very insecure puppy.craviduce wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025 17:56 pmhe's not Gary. playing with a lead also makes the fans more comfortable, and more likely to tune in or go to a game when they expect the team to grab a lead.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025 08:36 amExactly.
