When it goes bad, it goes very bad.
Oli may have to have MO activate him just to fill out a lineup. They may need to call up a few guys from Memphis.

Why not, let’s play 4 short

Because nobody cares
Scott sprained an ankle. He should go on the IL. Will see about Winn

They should just go ahead and put WC and or Donovan on the IL. Whoever is furthest away. Or even both.

But I don't expect exciting call ups.
Koperniak
Fermin
Or even Arenado if he's ready.

It is time. However, I think they will call up Prieto, and maybe Church if Scott is bad enough. Anything less is malfeasance.

Hmmmm...

Wetherholt is a SS and Church is a CF. :P

Church would make sense since they have to add him to the 25-man roster in December anyway.

I'd guess Fermin comes up and Saggese plays SS.

Center fielder is the Captain of every OF.

Even when a corner OF is waving that he can catch it , if the CF is yelling Mine Mine , the ball is his catch and corner OF must defer to the CF.

The CF makes the call not the corner outfielder.

If Scott has to go on the IL does Church get the call up?
He's wrong on the Scott attempt. Scott tracked that all the way and made a great attempt to catch it and barely missed. He had to get momentum going to jump at the wall. I'll take that over Bader just watching the ball sail over his head.
The ball went UNDER his glove.
Fantastic sprint speed to get there.
And then misjudged the ball.
Scott did his best to catch the ball. Went all out. And he is a plus plus defender in CF. I'll take what he did over what you said he should have done any day.

Both are true statements.
Weird how often folks object to factually accurate assessments.

Give It Up. He ran full speed into the gap at the wall. Nobody agrees with you on any of the outfield stuff tonight. That should tell you something. Scott did his best to catch the ball and didn't do it. It would have been an utterly sensational catch if he had made it. And Walker deferred to the CF, which is perfectly normal on any and all baseball teams. The mistake was made by Hampson calling Walker off.

To the 40 man, but yeah. Currently stands at 37 players

Might as well bring him up if Scott misses time
