This winter ownership and the FO will talk themselves into being a fringe contender and they need to wait and see. Then get to the deadline. Sell off a reliever or two. And rinse and repeat.
Um did you know Mo is retired after this year and there is new management in STL? Yeah. It's happening.

But that was without The Great Lars Nootbaar. He's getting closer to returning. Watch out league!!

The fact that he thinks Nootbaar is a core piece is why this org has been run into the dirt. A case COULD be made for Burleson, but he seems like a role player/platoon guy to me still. His bat hasn't reached that level yet

Agree. The problem with Burleson is he's the only OF we have that produces runs. If he's gone, then what?

So sure I would move him if something good were offered, but it really shines a light on how terrible this OF is.

"Putz. Lazy (donkey) blowhard". That's a terrible and childish post by JA, Shakey. If complaining about that kind of stupidity in a post causes me to lose the respect of posters, so be it. And if you don't care for me, so be that too. Just put me on ignore so I don't bother you. Deal?

Why did people seriously think they were gonna blow it all up in a transition year? Bloom is going to start with this group next year and see what he has and wants to do with this group. A big sell was never going to happen

What do you think a 2+ month rental should bring back?

Think Mo, in collaboration with the Cardinal owners, destroyed this franchise. Nobody goes to the games anymore. Or, not many
