That's a 109-110 win pace. The Cardinals have never won that many games in a season.

Right and we didn’t, we won 100 games, although part of the reason it was “only” 100 games is a bad September. Went 15-16 in September/October, including 3-6 over the last 9.

The 2022 Dodgers won 111 games and didn't win the WS or even reach the WS. Baseball is funny like that.

They didn’t even win one playoff series, lost in 4 games to an 89 win Padres team.

2001 Mariners - 116–46 record; most runs scored and fewest allowed; 59 games with wins by 4 or more. 4-5 stars had incredible stats.
They lost to the Yankees in five games in the ALCS.
Now that's a bummer.
