Samskevich did not play for them in the playoffs.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:13 pmYes a team full of LH shots only is problematic esp on the PP also can be easier to defend in some cases. Two of Floridas 4 right wings actually shoot right (Samoskevich and Reinhart), vs the Blues who would have literally only Snuggerud. Sure the Blues can make it work but its not idealnoted wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:13 amBolduc and Buch both play right wing. If you are saying someone needs to be right handed to play right wing, that's not true. The Panthers just won the cup twice in a row with only 2 right-handed forwards.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:01 am Id be shocked if Army moves Kyrou but i think in the realm of possibilities. Unless something productive is coming back in the form of a RW scorer then the Blues forward group would be in a bit of trouble. Theres not much in FA pool, Brock Boeser? Marner? That would leave Snuggie as the only true RW shooter on the roster besides Thomas and Sunny.....
Why would you be shocked if the Blues traded from a position that they have a surplus in to fill other needs?

It would be a most fabulous stat, if offense won Stanley Cups.
Two assists in 28 playoff games.

Did Petro know it was the Cup Winner the second he put it in?
That was a giant flamboyant troll boast.
Why won’t you tell us about it one more time.
Did some experienced older gentleman of ice hockey teach you somethin?

To win a Cup you have to play in, with and through pain.
Sacrifice yourself for the betterment of the team...
Push yourself to new places. Uncomfortable places.
Kyrou fails to check any of those boxes.

The Blues need to qualify for the playoffs first, that means scoring goals and Kyrou is one to the top RWs, then he needs to continue to work on developing his overall game. idk maybe Army trades him im just saying beware because unless forward talent is coming back that a yuuuuge hole to fillHarry York 37 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:08 pmIt would be a most fabulous stat, if offense won Stanley Cups.

One, Kyrou is paid to score goals any helpers are gravy. I’d rather he shoot than dish.
Two, assists aren’t always in the player’s control. What if you made a Gretzky-like pass and the guy fanned or broke his stick or just plain missed the net?

I understand your point. But, in 28 games, you would like to think he made more than two passes that paid off in a goal.
Garry Unger started out with the Redwings and on his first shift, he passed to Howe in their defensive zone and Howe skated it up the ice for a score. Unger said that his first thought was, “Man, I’m gonna get 900 assists this year”.
It works both ways. A gorgeous setup can be blown, for sure.
But out of all the passes Kyrou made in those 28 games, only two led to a goal? Hell, the last TWO successful passes count for assists. That is extremely telling- to me- about Kyrou’s lack of burning desire to win a shift, or a game, or a Cup.

For this make sense we'd have to know the return, it wont be Kyrou for Dobson straight up for example i dont think thats enough coming back and for instance if your saying the lines end up something like this;
Buch Thomas Snuggerud
Holloway Schenn Bolduc
Neigbours FA Joseph (or whatever)
Walker FA Torop
Fowler CP
Broberg Dobson
that forward group is scary thin, Bolduc doesnt produce, Snuggerud underwhelms, injuries thats a bad hockey team.

Losing Kyrou’s offensive “regular season” production is sobering, for sure. There is always the small, in my opinion, chance that a full year of playing alongside Holloway can make a miracle. If we are stuck with him again next week, that will be my prayer.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:43 pm For this make sense we'd have to know the return, it wont be Kyrou for Dobson straight up for example i dont think thats enough coming back and for instance if your saying the lines end up something like this;

I would not want to root for, or be on a line with, a player who is embarrassingly timid and lacks real poise.
That is one of the ugliest looks in playoff hockey. Kudos to our pros who have played like professionals alongside him. It would take a lot to speak out after he won the battle to the finish with a Stanley Cup winning coach over his “style” of play.
