Re: Magic Number
I think that’s true no matter how we get in. Not gonna be a deep playoff run. But hey, the kids will get some great experience. So cmon guys, buckle down and beat those “hockey clubbers?”

I get the obvious there but I don't buy it when it comes to play offs.Wattage wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 02:32 amLosing 4 in a row would lose in the playoffs anyway. If we dont win we werent gonna go far in playoffs anyways.Harold_Melvin wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 01:05 amYep, a regulation win is the key to getting in. If the Blues don't win in regulation then they will need help.Wattage wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 00:47 amIf blues win their last game in regulation, even if calgary won all 3 in reg wed be tied in regulation wins and easily win the row tiebreaker. A regulation win clinchesHarold_Melvin wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 00:24 am Minny has 2 games to go and can finish with 97 points.
That's 1 more than the Blues could finish with, so there's no debate about Minny being ahead of the Blues.
So the last spot is down to the Blues and Calgary.
With one game to go the most points the Blues can finish with is 96.
Calgary has 3 games to go and could finish with 96 points too, but they could win out in regulation and pass the Blues in the RW tie breaker.
So even if the Blues win the their last game, Calgary still needs to lose a point along the way for the Blues to get in.
The magic number is 3.
Lose 4 in a row but then come out and win game 1 or even a road split and everything changes.
We've all seen what this team can be.
Re: Magic Number
Sharks gave Calgary a fit their last time playing each other.
One can hope.
