The more the madness continues the more scrutiny it’s going to attract. These are not the actions of a well respected coach. It’s not just that he never sits, it’s that he plays top 3 mins at forward every night. And in spots where he currently has no chance to contribute. I mean this is like putting Nolan Gorman at SS to protect a one run lead late in games. Something is amiss.

I can't really tell if he's lost speed and quickness, he still plays hard but his productivity has been waning every season. Now, his hands and wrists have gone stone cold, he fumbles pucks, passes, and shot attempts constantly. Makes me wonder if he's been playing with a wrist injury. If not, there's little hope for him to improve.

Monty is coaching like someone with 100% job security...and that's never a good thing.

I’m wondering if Monty is displaying him hoping for a trade or if he’s trying to force Army to move him.

Would it be addition by subtraction? Because at this point we aren’t getting anything of value back for Buch. Would everyone be comfortable with the trade off simply being the removal of his contract?

I would, but IF he’s traded it won’t be anything but a salary dump. Hell, we might have to throw in a draft pick to get some other team to take him off our hands.
