Haven’t watched it yet, but it just came out and thought I’d pass this along.

Every time you hear Cerfolio speak you will feel better about the Cardinals future. Smart, articulate dude.

I'd say you probably get about 2-3 years w/ Cerfolio. He'll be a GM/POBO sooner rather than later

And all the bloggers/podcasters that talk to him rave about how chill and down to earth he is too.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 12:51 pm Every time you hear Cerfolio speak you will feel better about the Cardinals future. Smart, articulate dude.

Hopeful that Bloom and him can be like Luhnow/Stearns were for the Astros.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 12:51 pm Every time you hear Cerfolio speak you will feel better about the Cardinals future. Smart, articulate dude.

They're going to make a dynamite POBO/GM team (once Bloom names him GM).

I'll be in the camp that this would surprise me.Basil Shabazz wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 12:56 pm I'd say you probably get about 2-3 years w/ Cerfolio. He'll be a GM/POBO sooner rather than later
He's only 32.
He's previously turned down a move to Boston.
He's got a young family and had a tough time leaving Cleveland where he'd been for a decade and they had roots.
He doesn't strike me as the type that is going to uproot the family again in a couple of years. I think he's looking at this with a long runway and plan.

He only uprooted his family and took the Cardinal job after conversations with his college coach and mentor -An Old Friend wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 14:15 pmI'll be in the camp that this would surprise me.Basil Shabazz wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 12:56 pm I'd say you probably get about 2-3 years w/ Cerfolio.
