I'd say you probably get about 2-3 years w/ Cerfolio. He'll be a GM/POBO sooner rather than later

Hopeful that Bloom and him can be like Luhnow/Stearns were for the Astros.

I'll be in the camp that this would surprise me.

He's only 32.
He's previously turned down a move to Boston.
He's got a young family and had a tough time leaving Cleveland where he'd been for a decade and they had roots.

He doesn't strike me as the type that is going to uproot the family again in a couple of years. I think he's looking at this with a long runway and plan.

He only uprooted his family and took the Cardinal job after conversations with his college coach and mentor -
John Stuper.
