Pitching matchup this weekend

Post by vegascardsfan5890 »

Nola vs Pallante
Sanchez vs Mikolas
Wheeler vs Liberatore

Phillies 3 aces vs our....pitchers?

How badly are we swept?

Cards did just beat Skenes, the best pitcher they saw on the road trip. Youneverknow.

I predict they will win one of three vs Philly.

If only I was a betting man. And if you believe that Ozzie, run to your bookie! You could make a lot of money.

lol hey it’s baseball. A lot of times you think oh it’s the pirates easy 2 of 3 then they lose 2 of 3 then play the Phillies and think cards are doomed they will be swept then they take 2 of 3 from the Phillies that’s my bet

Mebbe we can escape by only losing three.

Just for fun, let's play all 3 of them.

An attractive opponent for a weekend series, good weather, attendance should be better.

Let's hope the pitching is too.

It will definitely give us an idea of where attendance really is. Right now we are the worst in baseball at a -8,994 per game YOY. But, our first home games were versus the Twins and Angels (during the week), so not exactly exciting teams to go see. Attendance in MLB is down 477 per game YOY.

Hopefully the team has a good series vs the Phillies.

How many home games have they played? 6?

True. Two weekend afternoon games against a highly talented team with no apparent bad weather. This will be more of a bellwether of this season's attendance than the opening stand. The DeWitts are paying close attention.
