Cards did just beat Skenes, the best pitcher they saw on the road trip. Youneverknow.
I predict they will win one of three vs Philly.

If only I was a betting man. And if you believe that Ozzie, run to your bookie! You could make a lot of money.

A lot of times you think oh it’s the pirates easy 2 of 3 then they lose 2 of 3 then play the Phillies and think cards are doomed they will be swept then they take 2 of 3 from the Phillies that’s my betOzziesfan41 wrote: ↑10 Apr 2025 21:13 pm Cards take 2 of 3

Re: Pitching matchup this weekend
An attractive opponent for a weekend series, good weather, attendance should be better.
Let's hope the pitching is too.

Re: Pitching matchup this weekend
It will definitely give us an idea of where attendance really is. Right now we are the worst in baseball at a -8,994 per game YOY. But, our first home games were versus the Twins and Angels (during the week), so not exactly exciting teams to go see. Attendance in MLB is down 477 per game YOY.11WSChamps wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 06:19 am An attractive opponent for a weekend series, good weather, attendance should be better.

Re: Pitching matchup this weekend
True. Two weekend afternoon games against a highly talented team with no apparent bad weather. This will be more of a bellwether of this season's attendance than the opening stand. The DeWitts are paying close attention.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 08:27 amIt will definitely give us an idea of where attendance really is.
