The rest of April schedule
9 at home - 16 on the road.
13 games in a row - 7 of those on the road.
As of now, no series teams except Philadelphia has a winning record. The Cardinals will play them at home.
Not trying to make any kind of point, just talking about the rest of this month’s schedule.

If Cards have a chance to compete in the division, it is very important to have a winning record in head to head games vs divisional teams especially the Brewers. The Cards haven't done well vs. Milwaukee the past few years.
Re: The rest of April schedule
That stretch is the perfect time to insert a 6th starter or 2.

It also marks the 1/5 mark of season, plenty of time to make a reasonable deduction.fullswing wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025 22:08 pm 9 at home - 16 on the road.

The opponents without winning records include the Red Sox, Astros, Mets, and Braves, all contenders for the 2025 postseason. I consider April to be a tough gauntlet for the Cardinals.fullswing wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025 22:08 pm 9 at home - 16 on the road.

You’d think. But these teams are not yet in stride. Best get them early before they get hot. This includes brewers.sp25 wrote: ↑04 Apr 2025 10:22 amThe opponents without winning records include the Red Sox, Astros, Mets, and Braves, all contenders for the 2025 postseason. Interesting side note, there are presently 13 teams with winning records and 16 with losing records (1 at .500).fullswing wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025 22:08 pm 9 at home - 16 on the road.
