Shady Maple loves to ride a horse to death. A lot of people have a hard time pulling for Alec Burleson because of the recurring multiple and repetitive threads about his boy Alec. I gets so very old, I have refrained from most of his posts. He is about to put the Shady hex on Roby, who is his new man crush. Inevitable if he is called up and farts Shady will sniff it out.
That's a plain stupid attitude. I hope you are at least pleased that I was right about Burleson. You and many other self-appointed baseball wizards here weren't. If that's the case, I hope the so called "Shady hex" works as well on Roby as it did on Burleson. You are a fricken' joke.
And you have lost your mind.
Legit question:
Who on CT isn’t pleased that Burleson is hitting well???
No one. We all root for the team and glad when anyone one wearing the jersey contributes. That’s why we’re here.
Not an Oli fan either but would love to see him win 95 and a hundred next year and actually earn an extension.
Many just aren’t ready to hyperventilate over a guy who fell off a cliff after an even stronger start last year.

Yes
Not an Oli fan either but I root for him to make good decisions every game.
Just want the team to win.
And in the end I’ll gladly eat crow if he succeeds!

Attempt to trade Gorman. Give Walker one more year
In regard to your Gorman suggestion. A reason it makes sense is the fact that two very good players in the organization, Saggese and Wetherholt, are on the way.
Wetherholt or Donovan can take over at 3b at some point.
Do either of them have the arm?
Donovan has played some 3b. His arm is adequate i guess. Wetherholt has played SS, so I assume he has a decent arm.
But I get what you are saying. And I don't disagree on that front. Gorman has the arm for 3b. But can he field decently?
He has the arm strength but seems clumsy and inaccurate when playing the ball towards the dugout and attempting the throw across his body over to first that the elites seemingly do with ease. He’s fine at the routine stuff but we’ll miss Arenado the way we missed Rolen if Gorman is the everyday replacement.

It's small sample size but he does better there, vs 2b
