Still not June and a month before the deadline.
Unfortunately I don’t see how AAA could improve their trade value??
If they start hitting really well at AAA before the trade deadline. Actually, I saw this suggestion from another poster on another thread. Something to that effect.
why didn't you ask him about it on that thread? Why did you need to start your own thread on a topic already going? Etiquette...it's a thing
Guru, you are an picky, annoying dude.
that's funny...coming from you.

More name calling from you, when you're cornered and I guess afraid? Pull the shades up...get some light in there.
Some others you say nothing to when they do the same thing I do. By the way, I believe the other thread was referring to just Walker. So mine is more inclusive. Get it? Why not just participate in the thread instead of trying to be the CT monitor?

I wouldn’t get onto it with the most productive poster on CT. It makes you look like a fool.
He is too defensive toward me. It's not necessary. I'm not the threat he assumes I am to his expertise.
I doubt he views a 76 yr old sock account creating loser like yourself any sort of threat.

The Goon Squad needs to stop trying to disrupt reasonable topics that I present. Just because they don't like me. Ignore, ignore, ignore. It's simple. The Gorman and Walker situations are worth discussing. Two highly regarded young players that aren't developing like it was hoped for. And, there are very capable other prospects coming along. It's a good topic. Don't you think?

Well, isn't there something much more important going on instead of bothering to hassle me?

Ok you’re entitled to that valid opinion. And neither of us has a crystal ball.
Question to you:
If you were a GM. You see players struggling. They go to the Minors and hit.
Would that increase your trade interest??
Absolutely. Considering how young and talented both Gorman and Walker are. Pretty soon the Cardinals need to consider if both Gorman and Walker are replaceable. ex. Wetherholt, Saggese, Church, Baez, etc. And infielder, Prieto, just keeps hitting, impressively, at Memphis.
The question didn’t concern other prospects.
The topic is how much leash to give Gorman & Walker.
Legit topic. But the players you mentioned are probably a year away(maybe ST 2026?) except for
Saggese so let them continue to develop.

I'm losing hope with Gorman, though he has shown some progress. Walker just turned 23 so I would give him more time. Saggesse looks ready to be a starter.

I'm not getting your intentions. Are you implying just move on from Gorman and Walker?

Yes. They are the turkey and milk in this particular metaphor. They are what they have shown us.

Good question. Do you trade them for peanuts to open up a roster spot or do you wait to see if they start playing better? By opening day 2026 there will be some current AAA players standing on the foul line being introduced to the crowd in St Louis.

Gorman was always strikeout/home run. Not surprised he is struggling.

Walker on the other hand at age 21 hit .276 in 465 PA. That's excellent and that big of a sample size isn't a fluke. What happened? Did they change his swing to match what a computer said he should do?

I expect both to be out of organization at the end of 2026

They don’t have it, either with physical skills or the mental acuity to adjust

Package Walker Burley and Gorman for a top level starter who has 0 service time.

Attempt to trade Gorman. Give Walker one more year

In regard to your Gorman suggestion. A reason it makes sense is the fact that two very good players in the organization, Saggese and Wetherholt, are on the way.
