The short attention span constantly having to be entertained crowd isn't going to get the game unless it's broken down into little pieces they can fit in some elementary puzzle.
The DH, changes in extra innings, discourage small ball, all or nothing offenses, bombarding analytics and numbers which often are mistaken for common sense. Pitchers who can't throw more than so many pitches or innings ad nauseum.
That's why winning is the only thing that's going to bring young or old to the games in what was traditional numbers.
The "younger" fans will never understand the rest.
Keep yelling at that cloud…
I knew you'd take the bait.
Can't help making a fool of yourself.
Congratulations.
You really think people under 50 can’t appreciate quality, fundamental baseball? Man, dementia IS tough, isn’t it?

You guys would be able to afford games if you didn’t spend so much on coffee.
Even Hills Bros is getting pricey.

You can't even discuss it without lashing out a comment
and condemning anything you feel is old sports or anything else.
You're so hopelessly biased it's pointless.
As for a baseball discussion you wouldn't have chance.
No dementia, just common sense.
Try it sometime if possible.

Well you'd have to have open mind first Sonny. That's something you still need to work on.
Show some tolerance and respect over a cup of that Starbucks coffee and then maybe you can get one going.

I have children in their 20s...you think I don't know a little about how times change and learning to adapt with it?
Not easy at times.
Point is learning doesn't stop at any age.
And not willing to accept the past warts and all is part of that education.

Adapting to change is pretty easy if you’re open-minded. Which also makes it easy to continue to learn at any age. And you’re right about not accepting the past warts and all is critical. WAY too many people here aren’t able to do that.

We did when you could attend an entire weekend series for less than $40. Not when it costs more than one game of gazing at the top of the RF foul pole.

HS games are much cheaper, and the talent is nearly comparable.

It’s a poor product.
People are wise to reject it.
Poor, expensive product with management that alienates its customers
