You really think people under 50 can’t appreciate quality, fundamental baseball? The DH, changes in extra innings, discourage small ball, all or nothing offenses, bombarding analytics and numbers which often are mistaken for common sense. Pitchers who can't throw more than so many pitches or innings ad nauseum.
That's why winning is the only thing that's going to bring young or old to the games in what was traditional numbers.
The "younger" fans will never understand the rest.
Can't help making a fool of yourself.

You're so hopelessly biased it's pointless.
As for a baseball discussion you wouldn't have chance.
No dementia, just common sense.
Try it sometime if possible.

I never want to hear that [nonsense] again. No team’s fans come out consistently when the product sucks.

As to your last point: absolutely true. Also, everything in the past wasn’t garbage and everything today/future isn’t terrible. It’s almost like there’s nuance to life, wouldn’t you say?

Not easy at times.
Point is learning doesn't stop at any age.
And not willing to accept the past warts and all is part of that education.

Adapting to change is pretty easy if you’re open-minded. Which also makes it easy to continue to learn at any age. And you’re right about not accepting the past warts and all is critical. WAY too many people here aren’t able to do that.11WSChamps wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 16:23 pmI have children in their 20s...you think I don't know a little about how times change and learning to adapt with it?desertrat23 wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 16:17 pmTolerance and respect? Re: 18th in attendance
We did when you could attend an entire weekend series for less than $40. Not when it costs more than one game of gazing at the top of the RF foul pole.Hofikebrucee wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025 16:13 pm BFIB

Re: 18th in attendance
HS games are much cheaper, and the talent is nearly comparable.
