Great win but Gorman seems hopeless

The biggest contribution Gorman is going to make to the Cardinals is whatever they can get back for him. In the past 3 seasons (including this one):

This season his defense is noticeably better, his batting avg is a little higher, and his strikeouts are down from the mid-30% to 29%. Perhaps someone would take a look at him? Three contenders that need upgrades at 3B who also happen to play in parks very amenable to LHH, the New York Yankees, the Athletics, and the Philadelphia Phillies. IF there is a market for him, they should explore it.

IFFFFF he happens to go on one of those one month streaks, then I would move him in a heart beat, but if he doesn't ... Maybe you could sucker someone, but what would you get back? Not much. The stock answer to every position right now on CT is Torres, buy he is no third baseman. Right now this team has no real heir apparent third baseman in AAA. Pieto and Saggese don't really move the needle. Fermin... nice utility guy, but not your third baseman. Wonder if RR could learn to play third? Who else is in the minors that is an up and coming third baseman? I don't follow our system in detail... JJ could probably play it, but no way am I messing up the chemistry he and Winn are developing up the middle.

Jalin Flores at Peoria and Deniel Ortiz (injured) at Springfield. Neither is close. Replacing Gorman is not an insurmountable task, and whether they trade him or not doesn't change the work the team needs to do. They need to find a 3B whether Gorman goes, or stays.

Doubt I woiuld be in the minority when I say we are looking forward to Bloom selecting a 3rd baseman type this summer with one of our first 3 draft picks.

Blaze jordan has mostly third at memphis and has been hitting well but i dont know how his defense is there if it is not unplayable he might be worth a shot. But as sure as sunrise gorman will have a hot streak and mel will pat himself on the back and the same posters who fall for it every year will fall for it again and say he looks like ancompletely different hitter and has figured it out then he will go back to sucking and at the end of the season his numbers will suck

From what I saw of Blaze in ST, I don't think he has "blazing" speed or quick moves, but yaneverknow....Maybe he can field 3B at roughly MLB average level. He couldn't hit in ST, but I see he is killing it now in AAA... He certainly would get a shot if Burley went down with an injury. As for stormin norman, you nailed it. He will have that "meeville wet dream" month and become the unicorn, only to turn back into the uniKKKorn shortly thereafter. Sort of like Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football...... SOSDD

The pitches he swings at are laughable. There is no reason for a pitcher to throw him a strike.
