Scott sprained an ankle. He should go on the IL. Will see about WinnBaseball Savant wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:44 pm I expect Scott and Winn to be out a while
Why not, let’s play 4 short
Because nobody cares
Well if the injuries keep piling up they may have noMIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:46 pmOli may have to have MO activate him just to fill out a lineup. They may need to call up a few guys from Memphis.

Choice but to call up JJ
It is time. However, I think they will call up Prieto, and maybe Church if Scott is bad enough. Anything less is malfeasance.

Scott did his best to catch the ball. Went all out. And he is a plus plus defender in CF. I'll take what he did over what you said he should have done any day.Melville wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:18 pmThe ball went UNDER his glove.icon wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:08 pmHe's wrong on the Scott attempt. Scott tracked that all the way and made a great attempt to catch it and barely missed. He had to get momentum going to jump at the wall. I'll take that over Bader just watching the ball sail over his head.Rosie's Rule wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 20:55 pm 1000% Mel on the ScottWalker catch attempts although Scott made a competitive effort.
If Scott has to go on the IL does Church get the call up?
Fantastic sprint speed to get there.
And then misjudged the ball.

Give It Up. He ran full speed into the gap at the wall. Nobody agrees with you on any of the outfield stuff tonight. That should tell you something. Scott did his best to catch the ball and didn't do it. It would have been an utterly sensational catch if he had made it. And Walker deferred to the CF, which is perfectly normal on any and all baseball teams. The mistake was made by Hampson calling Walker off.Melville wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 22:04 pmHe made a great effort.icon wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 22:00 pmScott did his best to catch the ball. Went all out. He misjudged the ball and it went under his glove.
Both are true statements.
Weird how often folks object to factually accurate assessments.
To the 40 man, but yeah. Currently stands at 37 playerscardstatman wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:52 pmHmmmm...Baseball Savant wrote: ↑16 Aug 2025 21:44 pm I expect Scott and Winn to be out a while

Wetherholt is a SS and Church is a CF.![]()
Church would make sense since they have to add him to the 25-man roster in December anyway.
I'd guess Fermin comes up and Saggese plays SS.
