I understand the criticism of him which has some validity but right there on that critical tiebreaking goal that was a heck of an offensive rush and pass. That's a huge asset so as he fills out and gains experience he really should be a solid #2-3 defenseman.
He’s definitely in that 6.5-7 range as of today. I had him at 8 about 2 months ago before his game cooled. But plays like that and how defensively responsible he’s been. The only thing lacking is his ability to get the puck to the net from the point. If had that, no doubter 8-9 million guy.

Considering he's 23 and just finished his first full season in the NHL I'm more than happy with how he played. Looking forward to seeing him continue to develop.

He's not been on the ice for an even strength against this series. Why is there any criticism?
I comprehended what the people criticizing him were saying. You want to interrogate me over someone else's argument when I'm praising Broberg?

Jets own fans ready to burn that goon at the stake on HF
Last night I realized I would pay good money to watch Cam Fowler prowl the point, skating like a shark cruises, assessing the scene like a Black Widow swinging near the top end of her web.
My kid brother used to say that, in Jack Clark's incredible prime, he would pay money to watch him strike out three times.
Still. Broberg is a better skater... he swoops and swivels in a goddanged McDavid-like manner.
When the Blues have a strong forecheck and roll five man units, our Defense always makes us scary on offense.

Dear Doug Armstrong.
I want a young prospect. I want somebody to prowl the point, skating like a shark cruises, assessing the scene like a Black Widow swinging near the top end of her web.
