Those darned Cubbies

They were in last place for half the season. Winning 16/19 will do that for you. The cards have won 12/18 games.

Cardinals in 2nd place and only 2 games back.

Scubbies have played half the AL teams the Cards have (18 - 9)

Also, the Cardinals are 6 - 1 vs teams today over .500, the scubbies are 4 - 5 so their beating up on bad teams.

Yea but you know the adage- good teams are supposed to beat bad teams. It’s ok if they are good. As far as competition is concerned, we need only make the tourney.

But even better teams beat good teams.

Very soon we face Pitt Reds Brewers and a Cubs. We will see then. As for Oakland and KC. Watch out.

Long flights. Sleeper teams. I smell a 2-4 trip with hopes of a 3-3.
