Seeing that the Cards' rebuild is about 3.5 months in, it's a little embarrassing to suggest it will take 5 years.
What surprises me aren't the CTers against the rebuild, but rather the ones who don't understand it and have no idea what they are looking at.
The 2026 team could be better than 2025.
By 2027, IMO, they will start spending money.
Like you really know anything.
I mean, you were ecstatic about all their moves the past 5 years or so.
Every pitcher they signed, you were there to post the positive spin.
However, none of their moves ever panned out to be worth a (bleep).
And here you are promoting the unpromotable.
Once again going to prove your 2 cents are more like 1 cent.

Good morning.
Over night thought. Could the rebuild drag on for 3-5 more years. If not a rebuild, then a down turn.
Given that, JJ will be in Arb years, approaching FA. If he turns into stud, we can’t afford him. So we are limited on years on the team.
So isn’t it a fact we got 5 ish years to become competitive, build the core, and then compete, before his status is an issue.
We are young pitcher heavy now, and infielder heavy. We will saturate the outfield next. Then lock out.
Any thing here.
Dude man.....
Excellent question.
I'd say likely to occur.
If it does, it's a major cluster [fork].
Great post and it should get a lot of activity.

I guess mine is too. The team is on the right track and I expect them to begin competing to be a playoff team again after this season. He's right too, about having several people on here who have no idea what they are looking at. They rage and rage against the "incompetence".
