Well, I hope he does.
Shouldn't have taken the job otherwise.
Time will tell.

Rock, you hit the nail on the head. It’s not just Oli’s performance as manager, but even more importantly, it’s the perception by Cardinal fans that he’s part of MO’s Mafia.rockondlouie wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 08:42 am Oh H E L L NO!
Bringing back Oli,who has the stink of yet another poor season on him as well as "Mo odor" would be a colossal marketing mistake!
If BDWJr wants to draw UNDER 2M next year, then bring back this sorry excuse for a major league manager.
If he wants to excite the fan base and truly SELL CHANGE, then Oli must go.
agreed.. regardless of how he actually is, need to move on from Oli for perception's sake if nothing elseHazelwood72 wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 08:55 amRock, you hit the nail on the head. Bloom needs to get the broom and make a clean sweep to indicate to Cardinal Nation that a new (hopefully winning) day is here. I think Cardinal Nation would respond positively at the ballpark and in renewed interest on TV packages.

Oli wasn't my choice in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.Basil Shabazz wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 07:48 am Yes or no?
If he's not the long-term answer, wouldn't it make sense to move on from him now to avoid a cloud of negativity hanging over the young players?
Personally, I don't want him as the manager in 2026. That said, I also believe it would create a more positive environment for the rest of the season if the team were led by an interim manager—someone not weighed down by anxiety over job security.
An interim manager could make decisions with a long-term view in mind, rather than focusing only on short-term results in an effort to save their job.
Thoughts?
Sorry, I thought the ‘interim’ was in reference to 2025.Basil Shabazz wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 08:08 amDo you want Oli as the manager in 2026? It was a simple question to lead off the thread.ecleme22 wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 08:07 amBasil Shabazz wrote: ↑04 Aug 2025 07:48 am Yes or no?

What kind of 'short term' decisions do you speak of? Actually curious.
