I guess if you’re going to have him at catcher it’s good to do it vs a team that is the 2nd worst base running team in baseball by fangraphs.

And even they got 3 SB's (of course not all 3 Hererra's fault but shows teams will run-run-run w/him behind the plate)

For those who want to applaud Oli for the teams solid start (and he deserves some but certainly not all the praise) this is yet another example why no one should want to see him in the Cardinals dugout ever again after this season.

Combined w/his history of awful lineup constructions and poor in game managing he has to go after this season.

It is weird, and Herrera struggled defensively just last night, plus got dinged on a foul ball.
Defense was pretty bad yesterday, which hasn't happened often. Great they found a way to win anyway.

If Herrera doesn't stop swinging at those down-and-in pitches, his reign as MOTO bat may be short-lived. Also, I'm not gonna complain about a guy hitting .350 with an OPS over 1.000 but wth is his power? He hasn't homered since that 3-homer game over a month ago.

And the Cubs have got to come back down to earth at some point--I hope? They're on pace for almost 1,000 runs. It's either one of those "magical seasons" or the Cards are just gonna have to focus on the WC considering they have the softest schedule in MLB although we do face them 13 times. Another come-from-behind walkoff win last night .... sigh @#!@#!@ lol

You may have missed his May 12th HR.

Even still, since his last HR, he’s hitting .362/.426/.426 with 11 RBI and 9 runs in 13 games. That ain’t bad.

Interesting thing about the Cubs is how they are tormenting relievers, but rather pedestrian vs SP’s.
