Good lineup vs RHP with Herrera at C and Burly instead of Walker in RF. They need to flip Contreras and Herrera in the lineup. Nootbaar needs to pick it up, offensively. Good to see Gorman get another start. He looked pretty good at the plate last game.

Walker needs to buy some Calves....veal is a great meat. Burleson has Calves. This is what got him into the lineup today.

no...I read it this morning over breakfast. It was a funny thread, that became dark when you turned violent. Not a good look when you meltdown, Marshall.
And Cranny should've put you in your place, since he's all about propriety...but he turned another blind eye to your call for violence. No strong condemnation from Cranny. He condoned your racist puppets, he condoned your now twice calls for violence on here.
You two are quite the pair .

Cards pitchers have an ERA over 5.50 when Herrera started, under 3.00 when Pages starts

Is he Spartacus?... or maybe your son really posted that thread?...it seemed authentic!
Re: Herrera behind the plate ; Burleson in, Walker out...tonight's lineup
you can't make this stuff up.
well, Oli can...and does.
Re: Herrera behind the plate ; Burleson in, Walker out...tonight's lineup
With everyone healthy and the desire to keep your two best bats in the lineup(Donovan & Herrera) this is the best way to get Gorman in there.
Re: Herrera behind the plate ; Burleson in, Walker out...tonight's lineup
I guess if you’re going to have him at catcher it’s good to do it vs a team that is the 2nd worst base running team in baseball by fangraphs.
Re: Herrera behind the plate ; Burleson in, Walker out...tonight's lineup
If an Oriole batter swings and goes all the away around and clobbers Herrera in the back of the skull and knocks him out of action for a month .. holy hell will break loose on the forum as to why he was behind the plate once again. It would just be Cards bad luck to have some freak injury while he is catching tonight.

Guru, you are "out to lunch". Just stick to reporting on the minors, the draft and giving lineups. Stay in your baseball lane. You're the one that got all this animosity krapp started. You need to take a break from "stirring the pot", Master.craviduce wrote: ↑27 May 2025 15:00 pmno...I read it this morning over breakfast. Agree! What is Oli's problem?
Did he not notice Pages throwing out a base stealer AND hitting a home run yesterday? Has he not noticed how well the pitcher's pitch with Pages/Pozo behind the plate?
Weird.

And that would be second guessing which I abhor.ramfandan wrote: ↑27 May 2025 15:57 pm If an Oriole batter swings and goes all the away around and clobbers Herrera in the back of the skull and knocks him out of action for a month .. holy hell will break loose on the forum as to why he was behind the plate once again. However, I'm saying BEFORE anything bad happens...this is a ridiculously stupid move by Oli. As we've seen these past couple of weeks, Herrera's bat is too valuable and his glove too mediocre to place him behind the plate. It's a lose-lose situation!
