I still think this team finishes anywhere from 77-85 to 85-77. Regardless, if they keep playing the same energetic, fun style they've showed so far, they'll be easy to root for.

I don't expect grand things from this group, but will happily watch a team playing hard, fundamental baseball.

I definitely notice a change in the energy and vibe with these guys. They all seem like they WANT to be at the ballpark. And if you're gonna beat them, then the other team's gonna feel it. Past two seasons it's felt like they'd rather be anywhere else.

If this team starts to make more noise, they're going to be easy to fall in love with.

I had the goofy idea this winter of giving him an OF'ers glove and teaching him to play LF.

Whereever he ends up, the kid can flat out hit and has to get 575-600 PA's somewhere.

If he has two-thirds of the cannon that Santiago had...that ain't bad.

One would think that if he had a bigger arm that he would not need
such a wind up to get it to 2B.

Foot work and positioning, release, may all help that. Skeptical that
impaired positioning helps.
