By all accounts this was not the club’s doing. Player wanted to go back to Germany. There is some speculation regarding personal reasons. Whether it be personal or professional once a player decides they need to move it’s difficult to prevent it - there are countless examples.

What if everyone wants out?

I am sure not everyone is happy with playing at STL City.

Is there a point to contracts anymore?

If it is a family situation I am sorry his family is going through that and I am sympathetic to his plight.

Everyone wanting out is hyperbolic. Not going to happen. Contracts have a point in that they determine wages and terms - they have never prevented transfers. There are stipulations such as sell on fees and buyout clauses but no player or agent would sign a contract that would restrict movement. So to answer your question…they are kind of pointless.

Everyone wanting out is hyperbolic.

However, the next person that wants out - that wish has to be granted.

For whatever reason.

A precedent has been set.

How long is it going to take for you to figure out, that the more Sephaxs posts in an effort to show how much he knows about soccer, he ends up showing how much he doesn't know about soccer.

Which of the dozens of questions did you actually answer? They are all pointless.
