If you have the entire team already put together it’s not a rebuild lol I don’t think you’ve figured out what a rebuild is. They are rebuilding the farm system and figuring out which players can form a core to rebuild around that’s step one of any rebuild it’s not hard to figure out how the rebuild looks. They found out pallante mcgreevy are solid starters they found out lehay can make the move the move to the rotation and those three form a solid 3,4,5 they brought up Matthew’s to give him experience in the rotation. They know now once and for all Gorman isn’t a unicorn who will be part of the core same with Scott and probably church. They found out JJ and walker could be part of a core as well as possibly herrera and burly.

People act like this was supposed to be a competitive year.

Bloom never promised that. They aren't quite saying rebuilding but he has indicated that moves are pointed towards the future as the top priority.

If, in 2028, they aren't seriously challenging to make noise in the playoffs and we are talking about next year, up and coming players and made no bold moves to upgrade the major league team in the preseason, then i will pick up a pitchfork too.

Main thing I wanted this year is player development, continued strengthening of farm system, finding our who is part of the future and doing it without having a sub 60 win season.

Assuming no strike, next year should be closer and 2028 is the year to expect a breakout.

I must admit to being a bit surprised that you were unaware of that fact.
