Cease is Cease but the Jays offense is really terrible, with an OBP just above 300 and the lowest ISO in MLB plus they're really bad at running the bases too. These are the guys who lost game 7 by a run in last year's WS and they're a solid fifth in the ALC. You can never take anything for granted.

Tonight, feed the Jays a lot of Leahy, be aggressive against Cease if you do get people on, hold on to the ball. Be smart.

I like our pitching for the Blue Jays series at least with Leahy, Mathews, and McGreevy. Our hitting will be the key. And I don’t have a lot of faith in it right now.

Hoping that Walker (the new Vince Coleman) , to be a top of the order table setter!

Batting your best hitter second makes some sense if you have capable dangerous guys behind him. But this team does not.

I would actually put Lars (just looking for a walk) Nootbaar at leadoff. Then I'd put Wetherholt, Burleson, Walker and Hererra 2-5. Of course oli would have to deviate from his precious lefty righty insistence.

For me, its not who's behind him but whos in front of him. Church, Fermin Crooks or Pages doesn't screem RBI chances.

Just saw on MLB that the Red Sox are 25-5 since June 25.

Same period, Cards are 12-19, 14th in NL, 3.7 RS, 4.2 RA.

For the Blue Jays, 11-18, 13th in AL, 3.5 RS, 4.7 RA.
