Looks pretty good to me, masterclass in asset management from the Blues

It means the Blues want to be competitive this season and they feel it’s too risky to put 2nd line center duties on a 21 year old who’s played 70 nhl games. They probably also don’t want to mess up his development by putting too much pressure on him before he’s able to handle it.

A guy picked 10th overall can’t really be compared to a generational talent like Celebrini or guys that were taken first overall. Maybe one day you’ll figure out the how the nhl draft, your singular obsession, actually works.

Who knows what was going but Thomas really struggled in his 21 yr it was the COVID shortened season. But in his 22 yr old season he blew up for 77 pts again that was a 109 pt team with firepower

Youth hockey is exploding in St Louis. Blues’ TV ratings are amongst the highest in the country. Seats are almost completely filled most home games. HOFers must not be as important to others as they are to you. Plus, fortunately for you, you can just go down to Busch 3 now and see all the HOFers the Cards are throwing out on the diamond every night.

There is another thread in these parts identifying Army's best moves. Do you find it interesting that not 1 person said that the re-whatever was brilliantly played? Dvorsky is the face of the re-whatever, and not one person identified Dvorsky as a great move.

Meanwhile over in San Jose, selecting Celebrini is recognized as a GREAT MOVE by everyone in the world.

And look what happened as a result? Shark fans EXPECT THE GM TO WIN THE CUP NOW. No excuses. What does this tell you?
The Sharks select Celebrini, and there are immediate expectations laid on the Sharks to win a CUP.
The Blues select Dvorsky, and 3 years later Blues fans hope that Dvorsky's role model (McTavish) can improve the club a little bit.
