He is neither hot nor cold he stays in the middle on stories.I would rather him tell us what he really thinks on any sports issue. If he says something I dont agree with thats fine I woukd respect him alot more if he did.Being lukewarm is not what you want to be in the media.I think he would have better ratings if he would.

I liked Randy when he was still on 101 espn, but i haven't listened to his show since he was let go a year or 2 ago. I'm not a big fan of the replacement show which is just Tim McKernan and Doug Vaugh rambling for 4 hours about nothing sports related
After giving it a shot I haven't listened to one minute of McKernan's stupid show for a long time, what a waste of air time.
I refuse to listen to them as well.

Just a horrible production and performance.
What a joke and on an ESPN affiliate

St. Louis hasn’t had good local sports guy since the passings of Chris Duncan and Joe Strauss.

That is a good observation. I don't think its limited to local sports folks. The national folks have been trying to tell fans how to think for years now. I blame the sponsors of these specific shows. It sure seems like Bernie M has become much more bossy of fans, since Draft Kings started sponsoring his show. It seems like Draft Kings demands that Bernie raise the volume and intensity of his message and draw lines in the sand to divide fans to either agree or disagree with him.
Bernie's biggest problem isn't that he's wrong—every analyst is wrong. It's that he never seems to admit it. He'll flip-flop from one extreme to another depending on the news cycle, then act like anyone who disagrees is clueless. The shock-jock routine gets old. Instead of owning bad takes, he lectures his audience as if they're the ones who don't understand baseball. For someone who prides himself on accountability, he doesn't seem to hold himself to the same standard.
That is a flat out wrong. I watch Bernie everyday and have followed him for years. He has admitted to being wrong many times. I understand you might not like the guy but it chaffs me when people turn their personal opinions into falsehoods.
My problem with Bernie

1. He beats around the bush too much. His famous line is "I am going to make a lot of enemies by saying this"
2. His use of selective stats to prove his point. I like that he uses stats, but mostly he will cherry pick

I just watched his show and he had many good points on Baez and the minor league. One of his better shows.

Well there are those that who when the cardinals were 9 games over gave oli none of the credit but now that they are losing are giving him all of the credit for that and there are those that when the cardinals were winning were giving oli the credit for that but now that they are losing are giving the players credit for that so I guess it just depends on if u like oli or not. I’m guessing you are one of the ones who didn’t give him any credit for 9 games over but are blaming him for them losing
