How can you not be excited about Dvorsky?
That would be a good question for Steen.
Steen is excited as is Armstrong.
You can be excited and put him on the 3rd line. or even at wing. He will do what he's asked and I'm sure he will not complain about it.
The coach has lots of new toys. it will be fun to see how he deploys all these players. We will have to wait and see.

No reason to invent controversy. There is no controversy.

And now McMichael signs... yet another potential Center for the long-term future.

Almost overnight, Dvorsky went from the "Heir Apparent 2C" to "Mr Lost in the Crowd".

Meanwhile, the architect of the mess goes unquestioned. At this point, you have to wander if the team will get any real value from the 2023 draft. I suppose that when Army told us that the "Re-Whatever" is over, this end game is what he meant.

McMichael plays C about as well as Buch does. His best work has been when he's played the wing. If two of our top three centers(Thomas, McTavish, Dvorksy) go down, then he probably steps in.

You’re harassing the people that post on this message board. That’s it. You could get your message out to so many more people if you got a megaphone and shouted about top 5 picks outside of Enterprise before every home game. But you won’t do that because somebody would beat the [shirt] out of you. So you do it on an anonymous message board instead.

Sure. That is the party line.

On the other hand.. The Blues will be trying to win with players that couldn't even stay on the roster on their last team.

Face it. The Blues are desperate. Their NHL draft picks are not bringing value, and they are shopping at GOODWILL to try to fix it.

I think the Blues opinions of Dsky. Was made clear last year when he was told to, 'get it deep, play the boards and block the goalies view for a outside shot.

Most of the cherry roles are given to those the gm brings in. As management can't look good when they can't judge talent.

Dvorsky should be on HIGH EVALUATION status by the fans at this point. So what does Armangosteen do? They bring in MacTavish so that all the eyeballs can rest on him instead. Don't expect anything from Dvorsky is the clear message.

I cannot believe this thread has reached four pages. It's one of the dorkiest OP's and threads I've seen, baseless accusations and proclamations strung out like a week's laundry on a clothes line.

Sure :) The outlook and status of our high draft pick in 2023 is of no interest to any Blues fan.

It's never good to put the pom pom squad next to the Coach's desk.

I'm a Blues fan, longer than you. I've seen ALL of Dvorsky's games. I'm quite aware of his "status".

Fans cheer FOR their team and the players.

Do you ever compare hockey in St Louis versus other cities? Do you ever feel like St Louis is getting the leftovers while other cities gets steak?

Theirs a difference from cheering for your team and believing, repeating, and fighting for things that are not good, only to feel loyal. As doing so always leads to bad things. Something about a movie(1984)comes to mind.
