Again, the blues have made their moves. We all debated and discussed why are we posing these brand new silly trades that are never gonna happen?

Are we just dreaming?
Can we not handle the fact that all the trades happened and now we have to deal with the team that we have what is the purpose of all this madness?

Wright is asking for a trade.

The Flyers may have to make a trade.

The Blues have an abundance at left wing and a shortage of right hand shots.

None of this is madness.

I understand how you speculate, but please substantiate, with legitimate sources (internet repetitions or copy and paste don't count) your three assertions.

Elliott Friedman discussed Wright's situation on his 32 Thoughts podcast. Wright's agent confirmed that Seattle has said it plans to try and trade him.

The Flyers currently have 29.5M in cap space. If the Carlsson deal goes through they will have 11.5M left. Zegras and Drysdale are both unsigned RFAs (offer sheet anyone?) who will command substantial raises. Drysdale warrants a Broberg level contract. Zegras could get 9M. If the Flyers want to keep both, something has to give somewhere else on the roster (again... if Anaheim doesn't match Carlsson).

The Blues have 3 right-handed shots in the entire forward group, and of those only Snuggerud is a Top 9 winger. That isn't ideal.

Drysdale warrants a Broberg level contract.

Sorry but Drysdale is going to get paid.

Broberg didn’t? He’s making 8M a year going forward. Drysdale might get more given the exploding cap but he’s not going to be in Hughes or Makar territory.

If he stays he is going to take a pay cut. Not saying he is going to make crazy money, but he is going to want to make bank.
