These McTavish threads might have the potential to become part of Blues lore.....kind of like the Oshie "oh my God, we drafted a roller hockey player" thread, the fried food thread, and maybe the hugging at the airport thread!

You caught me red-handed - I'm obviously trying to get Armstrong to blow a first round pick by posting my opinion on a board that he doesn't read.
I hadn't yet considered this angle...

Someone mentioned #29+Buch for McT+our 2nd - This might be our best offer that could make sense, provided Army and crew know and believe in the player.

Someone posted a scouting report from a re-ranking of his draft, noting that the tools are there and he showed much more in the OHL, but lacks the competitive drive <--if this is true I don't even know why Army would be interested, and certainly not for #11.

No way I'd even trade Buch for a guy with talent but no drive, much less a diva on a big contract. I don't know anything about McTavish though.

Any chance of Fowler back to ANA? New coach. Who knows, but they need D, which is why Schneider might be the deal they take.

Trocheck+Schneider is what I'd be going for if I were ANA talking to NYR. As a Blues fan, I would be fine losing to them.
