Id be fine with acquiring him for the right price but what the heck are we doing here trying to build a team full of LW-C types that are really better as wingers?

If the pro scouts think McTavish is actually a C....I guess it makes sense.

Still don't know what we could give up that they'd actually want.

Maybe a 3way trade with Vancouver and Hronek going to Anaheim. Could see something like that.

if its the rangers we are bidding against they have the 26th OA so i don't think it would take much more than the 29th? Hopefully its part of a bigger hockey trade

Rags got defense to offer like Schneider. They got the 5th and 26th picks. No way they are offering up the 5th pick. They gotta be offering up 26 and a defender, likely Schneider, maybe Gavrikov.

Obviously we have all of our picks. We can out bid them on the draft pick. After that I don't know what the heck we have that they would want. I can't see us trading any proven NHL defender but Parayko and they already said they weren't doing that. I could see us parting with Lindstein or Ralph or any of the younger LHDs but how does that help Anaheim right now? I would think Suter would have value to Anaheim, but not as a main piece.
