16 and Suter would be my offer. Or 16 and one of our LD prospects in Fischer, Ralph, or Koromyslov.

I would see value for the Blues and Ducks in a move that was one of the firsts, Drouin and Suter for McTavish. That cleans up our roster and gets us a center, and Anaheim could use both those players. Financials are pretty much a wash.

Holloway Thomas Snuggerud
McMichael McTavish Buch
Stenberg Dvorsky Neighbours

Then that would open up some 4th line wing competition with Drouin and Suter gone.

Our entire middle six still doesn't have a right shot in it.

Benched by Q, moved to LW, too heavy, slow needs to get lighter and quicker these are not encouraging comments. Please don't f this draft capital up

I'm good with using one mid first on a guy who two years ago had 52 points and 52% faceoffs. Who by the way has a contract.

I dunno, but McMichael McTavish and Buch sounds like a law firm.

Aren't a lot these the same arguments vs McMichael? In any case I trust the Blues staff knows more than me

why are we including Suter in every single trade offer? He's making 4.5 can score, is excellent defensively can play center or wing on the 3rd or 4th line, and is a great teammate.

Why would be looking to get rid of that?

I dunno man I'm taking a pass on this one too many negatives when the team has a once in a generation chance to land a stud this dude has too many red flags, no more slow forwards, consistency issues. 51.7% FO two years ago isnt enuf

Personally I like Pius, for me it's you gotta give to get, and also I don't see him as part of the plan here after this year. He's what going to be 30 and a free agent. The Blues have plenty of players standing by to try and fill that role from Dube (if they sign him), to Kaskimaki, to Dean.

If he helps get you McTavish, makes sense to me to move him.

Because we don't need him.
We've got wing depth coming out the wazoo right now(Holloway, Snuggy, Buch, Neighbours, McMichael, Suter, Drouin, Berggren, Stenberg plus Carbonneau coming soon) and have a pretty glaring need for a #2 center.

If Suter needs to be included in a trade to get a #2 center, you do it.
MacTavish is probably the best center we can get right now(Larkin won't wave his NTC for us and EP carries too much baggage for me to consider him "better").

It depends on the pick. I’m not trading 11, but one of 15 or 16 would be fine. The chances of the player picked at 15 or 16 being better than McTavish are not good, and the Blues don’t have to wait 3 years for said player to make the NHL. It does make some sense. And, it could since the #2 center issue long term.

He had a good year under Cronin. Maybe he’s offered some perspective. McTavish has already said he needs to drop a few lbs to get some quickness back. He was a 3OA so there is talent there.

I’m not a fan but that’s why Army and Steen get the big bucks.

I don't think anyone has realistically suggested that.
