i didmt think noot was the answer but now im having my doubts and think he might be cuz youre usually wrong about everything you say.

noot is an average offensive player when healthy. scott and saggese are ridiculously below average bats- among worst in league. noot is an improvement over them
I see it as they have nothing to lose by playing him:
1) Think about who he is replacing(production wise)
2) He is under team control for 2 more seasons I believe?
3) Hopefully he at least raises his trade value? And since that is pretty low it can’t hurt.
4) Who knows? Maybe the heel issue was a factor and he will prove it?

Again nothing to lose and it’s not like he’s replacing Brock or Holiday in LF.
He’s a FA after 2027.

Play him long enough to trade him.

They will not extend him, move him asap.

5 years wasted on him.
He will be gone at the deadline
Better late than never.
Of course, I was the only person on the planet to correctly advise moving him 4 years ago while his value was artificially inflated.

No one has ever understood Bernie - unless, of course, you recognize him for what he is.
As for Mootbaar, the day he returns the team gets worse, not better.
Worse?
I joke around calling you the Sideshow Clown but your post makes that description 100% accurate.
He just knows noot is going to outhit the unikkorn and that is going to be hilarious of course that’s a very low bar for noot
LOL I knew the guy was a pompous arrogant tool especially with his ridiculous fixation on Gorman but this takes the cake.
While Noot is no All Star he is a superior all around player to Gorman.

Naturally I’m rooting for Gorman.
And every day I wish that he was as good as ME-ville THINKS HE IS!

The Noot fascination amuses me that it still exists after all these years of mediocre performance. Glove ain't good enough for CF, bat ain't good enough for corner OF. He should have zero future here on a team that is still too LH. I hope they let him play enough just to build trade value. And admittedly, he's better than Saggese or some of the other nobodies they've run out there in LF. For now.

Noot is a trade bait and has no place on this team. Walker, Baez , Church for next year. Velazquez , VS as subs
Yep. He should not be part of the future here. He is part of the failed past.

Except Noot will be in LF, Scott in CF and Walker in RF. Marmol loves Scott.

Trade is the most likely scenario.
I suppose he could surprise?
I fully expect Nootbaar who has been one long injury laden disappointment in St. Louis, to become a good player after he becomes a FA.

But enough time and patience has been spent on him in STL.

To me he is representative of a time in Cardinals history I’d like to forget.

All jmo.

Sure hope not. What’s the point in activating Nootbaar if you’re going to continue to play VS2. With both Church and Nootbaar coming back, it seems inevitable that a decision is coming soon on Scott and what he brings to the table. It’s obvious to anyone watching this team that he isn’t more than the fifth or sixth option here.

MLB trade rumors says that the D’Backs are looking for left handed bats. Noot reunited with Nado sounds good!

The time for marketing of cute Noots should be over. It's time for the marketeers to step aside and let the players determine their own fates based on performance.

Well with two feet that aren’t hurting him for the first time in several years he may be pretty good although he will probably get off to a slow start initially which people will jump all over then he will start raking once he catches up to speed

Indeed.
Gifted a job he never earned.
Proclaimed a core player by Super Slo Mo purely for marketing purposes.
Lars The Human Sushi-baar - always leaving an empty feeling.
Not very bright and terrible at fundamentals.
Good at drawing walks and then standing around while others do the real work.
The day he is back in the line-up, the team is worse.
The day he gets traded, the team is better.

Once Church returns, the OF should be Nootbaar, Church, Walker. So yes, Nootbaar's return should eventually make this team better.
