I don’t think that most think he is the “answer”.
But he is at worst a short term upgrade and if nothing else he might establish trade value??

It’s not hard to understand. Playing with two bad feet are a pretty good excuse for not playing well. Pujols always said your base is one of the most important things to hitting and he didn’t have it. Noot isn’t the future Baez is but Baez needs to cut down on strikeouts noot when reasonably healthy had OBP of .340 .367 .342 and OPS of .788 .784 .758. Bloom hopes he can come back and put up numbers close to that so he can trade him at the deadline. I could just see cards talk if bloom dumped him now he wouldn’t get anything and if he had a .340+ obp and .780 OPS how could bloom trade him for nothing look what he’s doing lol bloom is smart he’s making the smart choiceKentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.

This is Shady's imaginary friend. Himself.

i didmt think noot was the answer but now im having my doubts and think he might be cuz youre usually wrong about everything you say.Kentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.
noot is an average offensive player when healthy. scott and saggese are ridiculously below average bats- among worst in league. noot is an improvement over them

Imagine replacing Scott and his .550 OPS with Noot and a .780 OPS. It doesn’t change the world but it does make a difference.

Noot is a trade bait and has no place on this team. Walker, Baez , Church for next year. Velazquez , VS as subsKentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.

I see it as they have nothing to lose by playing him:Wattage wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:44 pmi didmt think noot was the answer but now im having my doubts and think he might be cuz youre usually wrong about everything you say.Kentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.

1) Think about who he is replacing(production wise)
2) He is under team control for 2 more seasons I believe?
3) Hopefully he at least raises his trade value? And since that is pretty low it can’t hurt.
4) Who knows? Maybe the heel issue was a factor and he will prove it?
Again nothing to lose and it’s not like he’s replacing Brock or Holiday in LF.

Not sure what the question is. Is Noot the golden ticket to a WS title? No one ever said that so the title is clickbait.Cusecards wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 20:17 pmI see it as they have nothing to lose by playing him:Wattage wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:44 pmi didmt think noot was the answer but now im having my doubts and think he might be cuz youre usually wrong about everything you say.Kentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.

Is Noot an upgrade to the OF in 2026? Yes he is if healthy. And yes playing on bad feet matters. He might be a solid LFer the rest of the way and could solidify the mid/bottom of the lineup over Saggese, VSII, etc.

No one has ever understood Bernie - unless, of course, you recognize him for what he is.Kentucky kid wrote: ↑04 Jun 2026 19:25 pm When he uses excuses nootbaar was playing hurt.He ain’t that good and other than the excitement of everyone saying Nooooooooot his playing don’t excite me.
As for Mootbaar, the day he returns the team gets worse, not better.

I joke around calling you the Sideshow Clown but your post makes that description 100% accurate.

Play him long enough to trade him.
They will not extend him, move him asap.
5 years wasted on him.
