Ottawa is a way better team then they are being made to play with this joker on the team.
His game is big late hits, slow backchecks, and bad penalty. Besides the occasion tip in. He adds nothing but a negative, I'm the best, everyone is picking on us, victimhood. That has ruined so much lately.
No team will win a cup with his type of victim (bleep) on the ice and his daddies little princesses attitude in the locker room.
Yeah, exactly this. He's overrated and not worth trading away good players or valuable assets for.

Hmm, straight up? That wouldn't be enough I have to say I'm still not in favor the Sens have to send something more back do they have a good prospect center?
Kyrou/Neighbours for BT+
Ugh I hate this
Straight up…no. Blues have to add big time. I still think Florida will figure out a way to get it done though.
Doesn’t Florida have a lot of NTC guys on the roster? Who, of value, do they have (without a NTC) that would make a deal work besides the 8th overall pick?
That team is great, but I see no way they are able to make it work. I wonder if Brady would actually WANT to come here. Hometown kids coming home can be really hard on the player.
Worked out for David Freese
Freese also said it was Hell and he was an alcoholic on and off while with the Cards.
Not all roses to play at home.
To be fair, he was an alcoholic before the Cards acquired him from San Diego.

But, I understand your point.

And the only way it makes any sense at all is if the Blues send Kyrou to Ottawa which begs the same questions, why would Kyrou waive to Ottawa and why would Ottawa want Kyrou in a BT deal. Perhaps there is a scenario where Ottawa would take Kyrou (if he waives) to add scoring seems unlikely to me.
Best bet is the Blues continue their plan on developing what they have, find out which kids are legit and they want to build with, then make a trade or two a season or so from now to add to their roster

While I wouldn't mind having someone like Brady to change the identity of the team, the timing just doesn't seem right.

IMO, the Blues need to stay the course and let these prospects develop into the players they want them to be and figure who is part of the long term plans.

A move for Brady seems more plausible in a year, when the Blues' new identity starts to form.
