Hmm, straight up? That wouldn't be enough I have to say I'm still not in favor the Sens have to send something more back do they have a good prospect center?

EXACTLY what I was thinking.
I don’t want to give up the farm to sign the guy, but I’d rather have him than Neighbours every day of the week.

While wearing an OB Clarks hat.....???
Truly, as anyone can see from my posts, I'm old and ignorant. What is OB Clarks, and what is the significance?

Widely considered to be THE hockey bar in St. Louis. https://www.obclark.com/ (fwiw I think the hat is meaningless)

Straight up…no. Blues have to add big time. I still think Florida will figure out a way to get it done though.

Doesn’t Florida have a lot of NTC guys on the roster? Who, of value, do they have (without a NTC) that would make a deal work besides the 8th overall pick?
That team is great, but I see no way they are able to make it work. I wonder if Brady would actually WANT to come here. Hometown kids coming home can be really hard on the player.

I think there is a chance he’s moved and I think it will be a place of his choosing…gut tells me that’s either Florida or St. Louis. No clue what Florida would have to do to get it done outside of that 2026 first rounder. Maybe Ottawa holds onto him until the trade deadline but they know he’s leaving eventually.

How do the Panthers afford him (assuming they have what the Sens would want to trade in division)?
This year's first will be a top ten. They could also get Florida's first next year and maybe a prospect. That would get it done.

They don't have the cap room. If they were just to trade picks Ottawa wouldn't eat any of his salary so that would leave them with 7 million to sign 4 players 2 of which are goaltenders. Any team with Stanley Cup hopes aren't going to have two unproven goalers for the season, so a vet goalie, even if it's bob is still going to cost them 2-4 million minimum.

If they are going to get Brady, they have to trade players from their roster.

Well played Sir! From his demeanor there in the clip, it looked like he was in a hurry to get to the "gyn" and get a workout in.
